Download Power of 10 Donation Form What is Power of 10? Power of 10 is a pledge program in conjunction with Komen Acadiana’s 12th annual Race for the Cure®. Each race participant is challenged to ask 10 friends to give $10. In 2010, 887 race participants took the challenge and raised an additional $114,380. If the 10,000 Race participants take the challenge, the Acadiana Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure could raise an additional $1,000,000 to expand programs in our 6 parish service area. Receipts in compliance with IRS requirements will be issued for individual contributions of $250 and above. For smaller contributions, a cancelled check or your emailed confirmation serves as a receipt. Power of 10 Heroes Be a Power of 10 Hero! If you are one of the top 10 individuals (Power of 10 Heroes) who raise money in donations you will be awarded prizes for your fundraising efforts! Individuals as members of Teams are also eligible for prizes. In 2010, our 10 Heroes raised an additional $22,262. PrizesPrizes will be awarded to the top 10 individuals who raise the most money in donations. Prizes are not cumulative. The Komen Acadiana Race for the Cure reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value. Some restrictions may apply. Winners will be contacted after the April 15, 2011 deadline. Winners of prizes are responsible for all fees and taxes when applicable. Please allow 4-6 weeks for delivery of prizes and awards. RULES AND INSTRUCTIONS
Komen Acadiana Donations are accepted after April 15, 2011 but will not count toward prizes and awards.
