Just Two Weeks to Touch a Truck!!
Its almost time for Touch a Truck!
What child doesn’t dream about getting behind the wheel of a fire truck, ambulance, bulldozer or a tow truck? Touch a Truck makes this a reality! This unique, interactive event allows families to touch and learn about how a wide variety of businesses and vehicles protect, serve, invest in and build our community, all for just $5.00 a ticket!
The event, which will be held at Cajun Field on April 14, 2018, begins at 10 a.m. and lasts until 2 p.m.
Touch a Truck event will feature a “quiet hour” between 10-11 a.m., allowing children with sensory disorders time to process the event. We want all kids, regardless of any kind of sensory perception issues, to enjoy the event and interact with our local heroes and community partners (After 11 a.m., sirens and other noisy demonstrations will take place).
